Park City party

We went up to Park City for a corporate Monavie party. We ate in one of the lodges up there and had the rides rented out for the day. (10 am - 10 pm) I was so excited to go up there because this was going to be my chance to ride the Alpine Slide! I was so determined! But alas, I was disappointed for the second time. :( (I had tried to ride it previously years ago and it was closed the day I went up)Stupid rain! We did stand in line for an hour to ride the Alpine Coaster. If there is any rain at all, they usually don't run that ride, but we really wanted to get on and try it. So we stood in line for an hour waiting for it to open up. We got rained on a few times (which as other people ran for cover, we kept moving up to almost the front of the line) and we also got hit with some hail. I didn't want to leave so I endured it (so glad that my friend Kristin had an extra sweater in her car or I would probably have gotten sick). Here are some pics of poor Josh all wet because he didn't grab his jacket and also one that I took while on the way to the top of the coaster:

look and see!

http://www.utahrealestate.com/895200

go to this website and check out the house that I think is a great deal. I would just have to convince my husband that this is a great house even though it's out in Eagle Mountain.
I really would love it! :(

Housing

I was going to write this awhile ago, but when I went to try our internet was down. (someone called Comcast-our apartment building has a contract for free cable with Comcast, but we do our own internet) Well, it's fixed now!
So last Tuesday, Josh and I went to a mortgage broker that his uncle and aunt recommended. His name was Adam. Very nice guy! He put some numbers together for us to see what we were pre-approved for. He also printed out a whole bunch of pages off a real estate website, he told us to go home and put out 8 or 10 of them and send them to him. Then he will go with us to look at them.
We are pretty excited! I just hope that we can both decide on something that we like and can live with for a few years!

WICKED

So on Sunday August 2nd, we flew down to San Diego to see Wicked!
What an amazing show! It was so awesome and I'm so glad that my husband took me! I didn't get a lot of pics because they don't allow them during the show. Never the less, haha, I highly enjoyed myself! Here's a few pics...

OUCH!

For those of you who don't know...........
Friday the 17th of July, I finally took my new rollerblades and decided to go blading down the Jordan River Parkway in Midvale. I was just passing some time before I had to go get Josh from work. SO I started out on my journey. There was a bridge that I hadn't seen before that I wanted to check out. Now I didn't think about the tiny hill leading up to the bridge, I was curious about the bridge and that was the only thing on my mind. So it wasn't very exciting, but as I turned around to go down the hill and continue blading on the path, I fell and fell down hard!!
I was glad that no one was around to see my big goof and even though it hurt, I still went blading for 15 minutes more. Now over a week and a half has gone by and my tailbone still hurts. I damaged it pretty good I would say! I can hardly sit and sleeping is extremely hard because I am used to sleeping on my back. I have to sleep on my sides or my stomach which gives me back pains.
I didn't go to a doctor because I didn't want to pay for an expensive x-ray and then have thenm not able to do much for me except give me drugs.
I hope I heal up soon and I can get back to my life.
I will still rollerblade when this gets better, I just won't go up any hills.

Lagoon Day

Such a diva this monkey was!

For my work's summer party, we went to Lagoon. They had this monkey show going on that I wanted to go see before we rode the rides. These are pictures from that (not only of monkeys)that I wanted to share. Oh, these are monkeys that have been on TV and movies.

4th of July

So this year for the 4th of July, we went over to Grandma Woolfenden's house (josh's grandma). We hadn't seen that side of the family since April when Josh's parents left to England. We ate and some people played a few water games. Josh played water volleyball while I sat and watched, but I enjoyed watching him get into it. Then there was a big black plastic "waterslide" (homemade) that was set up going down a hill that I wouldn't have ever slide down myself. It just looked like it would have hurt. I didn't take much pictures, but here are a few!
