Thankful Day #2

I am thankful for my 3 year old, Aidan! I love nothing more than being a mother and this guy made me one for the first time. He brings so much joy to us on a daily basis! He is spunky and strong-willed. I will love him forever and always!

Thankful Day #1 

(I'm late in starting this, but thought I'd just go from here.)

I am so thankful for this wonderful man that I married! We have been married for a little over 6 years and they have been some of the happiest years of my life :)

I can't imagine spending my life (or eternity) with anyone else. I have so much respect for him and the way he loves me.

Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point

My parents took my family and my sister Mindee's family to Cornbelly's.

It was a lot of fun! My nephew, Matthew, had so much fun that he didn't want to leave! (he walked by a bag of popcorn, grabbed it, and tried to walk away with it LOL) Aidan had fun but as it started getting late he kept saying "I go home". We went on a couple of "tractor" rides (was pulled behind a tractor in some seats made to look like cows and just a normal one looking at carved pumpkins) Aidan called them "roller coasters"

There was a corn maze we walked through and there were some wheels that you would spin that would tell you something to do in the corn maze. I made Aidan think I was eating a corn cob in there. It was all around a fun night :)

I should do these more often!

I found a page where I can make collages with pictures. I have so much fun trying them out, I need to do more of them! (using pictures that I don't post to Facebook)

2 months old!

Lucas is 2 months and 1 day old! He is such a fun little baby! He is still really strong (while on the floor during tummy time, he starts to lift one leg and looks like he is trying to roll over (already?))

He is starting to become more vocal with his "coos" and he's starting to become more aware of his environment. I love this time in his little life!

Today I turned 31 and Josh blessed Lucas in church. I was so happy to share this event with my birthday and Josh did a wonderful job!

2 weeks!

I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since Lucas came into our lives! He is an amazing little guy and we are so blessed to have him in our family!

He had his 2 week check up yesterday and the doctor says he's doing really well! Lucas is such a strong little guy. The doctor put him on his stomach to check how he lifts his head and Lucas was lifting his head AND turning it side to side. The doctor said they aren't supposed to be able to do that for another month or so! The doctor agreed that he is strong! He is in the 50th percentile for height, weight and length. He is currently 8 lbs 13 oz and 20.5 inches long. (He was measured 21 inches at birth, but the pediatrician said that they probably "over stretched" him at the hospital).
